Nice post. Direct linking to the wrong kind of campaign is a great way to blow a lot of money on low conversions. Some advertisers frown on it too. Their internal marketing department not being too happy about a bunch of affiliates jumping on the very end of the promotional boat.

But then – I think it comes down to a combination of the offer, and the traffic source. There are some offers that I’m quite happy to direct link to on Facebook and MySpace.
