Hi,
PPC/SEO convergence refers to how visitors find your traffic, or how you generate leads.

Affiliate marketing relates to how you monetize your traffic, so although it’s related, I wouldn’t consider them to be the same.

One has to do with traffic generation, the other to do with monetization.

SEO and PPC convergence rocks! Good point n using seo learnings to optimze you ppc efforts, a rarely used tactic. In fact many companies are using different vendors for seo and ppc or doing one or the other inhouse. Big waste of resources.

Keyword research is another effort that is done haphazardly and using multiple tools is a brilliant idea. It takes a lot more effort but you can find some great themes that way. Mainly because the numbers are relative and not absolute, so it’s as much an art as a science.
