At the same time, it’s bigger than Internet Marketing and at the same time, will play a large part in whether you will be a success, a failure, or an Internet Marketing Superstar.

My buddy, Rachit, just pubished a post about his travails as an online entrepreneur. It’s quite a good read. Head over to: A Tough Ending To My First Year As An Entrepreneur

Another buddy of mine, Ryan, faced a similar situation a couple of months ago: Do what you love, love what you do.

All of us will hit stumbling blocks in the course of daily life. Whether it’s in our career, in a relationship or in a business venture.

Anyone can do well when the chips are in their favor.

But (as you’ve read before) a person’s true character manifests itself when the chips are down, perhaps off the table altogether.

Here’s a secret…

The biggest business successes aren’t necessarily the smartest guys.

The biggest winners in love aren’t necessarily the best looking guys either.

[I use ‘he’ to represent ‘he/she’ because I’m lazy]

The biggest successes have one common trait.

More on that later.

At the same time too, the Matrix trilogy goes through the cycle of the underdog.

Neo starts out as everyone’s favorite whipping boy, and by Revolutions, he begins whipping everyone else.

Witness Star Wars Episode 1: Phantom Menace, Anakin is everyone’s favorite whipping boy (or slave boy) if you like. By episode 3, he’s enslaved everyone else.

Spot a pattern?

Movies and Sci-Fi authors give us what we’d want to see. They give us a vision of what we would want to do, want to achieve.

Whether you’re an employee or an entrepreneur, chances are if you’re like the 90% of people out there, you spend most days feeling like the whipping boy.

And whether you decide to go to the movies, the club, the casino, or just veg out on the sofa, chances are you’re escape into another reality. Either to free yourself from the strains for a moment, or to picture yourself in another reality, even if it’s just for 2 hours.

You might be waiting for the next motivational seminar to roll into town, or the next Internet Marketing guru to inspire you with how you can make dollars (tons of them) in your sleep.

But the reality is: You make your own bed.

You make your own reality.

After Anthony Robbins has collected that couple of thousand from you and made you feel really great for those couple of days, you’re back to being you.

How does that feel?

What if you could shape your own reality?

What if you could shift reality?

Can you see yourself being successful?

What would it feel like?

What would your new reality be?

Here’s how your visualized reality can become a part of your reality:

You hold the picture in your mind.

You take action every day to move closer to that reality.

The problem with highly intelligent people is that they think too much.

And the problem with thinking is that unless you’re a consultant dispensing advice and being handsomely rewarded for it, you won’t change your reality.

Although I’ve heard these words probably close to a year ago, the words ring true as much today as when I first heard them.

The Buddhist monk and teacher Adjahn Brahm said:

Doing something is easy. Thinking about it is hard.

The most powerful phrase I’ve heard from him and which keeps me motivated is:

To know, and not to do, is not to know.

Are you facing challenges?
