  • “What will pay the best?”
  • “What works the best in Internet Marketing?”
  • “Can you recommend something to me which will make me a lot of money?”
  • “How do I make $100,000 a month?”

Here’re my replies:

  • “What will pay the best?” / “What works the best in Internet Marketing?”

I think people who ask this question, expect a ‘silver bullet’ type answer.

Perhaps hearing “eBay Auctions” or “Adsense Publishing” will answer their money woes.

But the reality is that lots of people are making good money on the Internet.

And there’re at least ten basic ways to make online income, and probably 100 variations of that.

So the best way is the way that works best for you.

The “You” factor plays a big part in your success.

You determine your business model, you decide how you want to position your product or service. You determine the action plan and you take action on it.

I’ve heard that click arbitrage is dead.

I’ve also been to a number of online communities recently where they practise it on a daily basis, with some making upwards of $5,000 a day.

Is click arbitrage really dead?

Some would like to think so. I’m fairly sure that their detractors have their own business model (together with accompanying products and service) to promote.

I honestly believe that one business model is just as good as another, provided you put in the time and effort to make it work.

If you have a personal interest and stake in it, your chances of success are very much higher.

I personally don’t find creating 1,000 adsense income generating blogs that exciting, nor innovative (but that’s my personal preference), so I’ve decided to go ahead with this blog.

Most of my income has come from this blog, and people seem to be upset with me when I say that.

Perhaps they wanted to see my entire ‘network’. Or “all my websites” (I’m not sure what they want to see).
Sorry to let you down, folks.

Next question:

  • “Can you recommend something to me which will make me a lot of money?”

Sure. Pick something you’re interested in, then run with it.

Interested in Dogs?

  • Create a dog niche site, maybe dog care.
  • Sign up for dogfood affiliate programs.
  • Commission an ebook on a niche area.Create a dog community site, a forum
  • Create a viral dog campaign (hold back the rabies though).
  • Go on the road, give dog-related talks
  • Join an animal rights political party.

Have fun too! (actually that’s the most important element).

Unfortunately, most people don’t see the behind the scenes work behind every success story.

If you want good money fast! Expect to put in 8 hour days building up your business.

Except for lottery winners, I haven’t seen many make huge incomes overnight.

Even when watching Super Affiliate Ewen Chia and Copywriter Jo Han Mok, pull their $65,462 affiliate marketing campaign over 2.5 days during the recent World Internet Summit, it’s easy to overlook the fact that they’ve been at it for the past 3 years.

Can you pull the $435,000+ that Super Affiliate Ros Gardner did in her first year?

Possibly, but are you willing to put in the same effort?

I don’t know exactly how much time Ros put in that year, but I’m fairly sure it’s something substantial.

When you make the decision to go into Internet Marketing, it depends on what your goals are.

  • If you’re doing this as a hobby and putting in hobby type time, expect hobby type results.
  • If you’re planning to build a business, and an Internet Marketing business is as much a business as any, expect to put in time and effort in the beginning to master the basics and you can expect to see the returns coming in.

Final question:

  • “How do I make $100,000 a month?”

When you’re actually in the business, you can see how systematic everything actually is.

If you have a niche blog/site generating $1,000 per month, 10 of those amounts to $10,000 per month. And 100 of those gets you $100,000 per month.

If you have an info product generating $500 per month, 20 of those will generate $10,000 per month. Rinse and repeat.

The key though is refining the system which will bring you the results you are aiming for.

Once it works for one niche, you move on to the next and repeat the process.

Seen in that manner, isn’t Internet Marketing full of possibilities?

Are You Cheating Yourself of Massive Internet Marketing Income? http://whoisandrewwee.com/internet-marketing/cheating-yourself-of-internet-marketing-income/ http://whoisandrewwee.com/internet-marketing/cheating-yourself-of-internet-marketing-income/#comments Thu, 30 Nov 2006 23:00:07 +0000 http://www.whoisandrewwee.com/211/cheating-yourself-of-internet-marketing-income/ Here’s a tip.

If you’re building an Internet Marketing branding site, and build the “Me” brand which I’ve mentioned a number of times:

Building the “Me” Internet Marketing Brand

The biggest thing you can do is very simple, and at the same time, the hardest for many to accept. (I’ve had a difficult one with this too).

Almost people will have stiff resistance to this idea. Some may eventually do it especially if they see the logic behind it (but still do it very unwillingly).

But if you want to build your “me” brand, you must do it.

On your personal branding blog, your “me” brand blog, disable all web advertising programs.

Remove every one of them.

This is what Jo Han told me: “If you’re working so hard to bring traffic to your site, are you serious about sending them away when they click on adsense? You want to send your traffic away for a few cents?”

I realized, that it’s seriously stupid to bring traffic to my blog and send them away after less than 30 seconds on-site (And my traffic logs show it too).

On my blog at least, you’ll experience “the Death of Adsense”.

But something more pressing to consider.

During my World Internet Summit Singapore session, the same question went through my mind as I watched Willie Crawford, Dave Cavanagh, Jo Han, Ewen, Andrew and Daryl Grant, Mike Cheney and company do their thing, “What is the
difference that makes the difference?”

Why were they standing on the stage, addressing a crowd of 1,000? While I was sitting in the crowd?

Well, the most obvious factor was the time factor.

The ‘newest’ Internet Marketers on stage were niche site specialists Andrew and Daryl Grant, having been ‘in the biz’ for 2 years.

I’ve worked out what’s the WIS Speakers “difference that makes a difference” too. Which I’ll go into shortly.

So I was thinking, about my big Internet Marketing goal.

My aim is to address an Internet Marketing audience of at least 100 by July 21st, 2007.

Why that date?

It’ll be before my first full year in Internet Marketing.

It’ll be an interesting experience.

I’ve been talking to several Internet Marketers at WIS and several had been ‘blocked’ in their efforts.

I realized that many were banging against the walls I’d mentioned in a previous post.

Too often and too many were facing the same issues and same challenges and getting held back.

It’s sad that the same patterns repeat themselves, and often the same simple solutions would unlock the answers for these poor hapless individuals.

What will ultimately kill a prospective Internet Marketers career is thinking about something too much.

As far as I’m aware, thinking about something hasn’t created any business empires (although if you’re a business consultant you might be able to think about something, but you’d still have to commit your thoughts to paper or translate it into a consultancy engagement to monetize it).

During Stuart’s Internet Money Secrets, I remember people coming up to me, after I related elements of my social proof.

I told them specifically which tools I’d been using and how I’d been using these tools.

I’d just checked up on their efforts.

Guess what?

Nothing.

Although I’ve lost my voice, my refrain will continue to be “If you do nothing, nothing will happen”.

“If you do something, something will happen”

Here’s a post which I posted some time ago and it’s still as relevant now, as it was then:

-> Why 90% of Internet Marketers fail

The question is: If you haven’t taken action yet, will you take action now?

Especially after an info-packed gruelling 4 days of seminars.

Andrew Wee, David Cavanagh and hapless WIS Singapore participant

It was a pleasure to meet David Cavanagh after talking to him on the Warrior Forum (in honesty, we were commenting on the same threads.)

And he’s surely one of the most colorful personalities I’ve met thus far.

If WIS has an award for “Most Entertaining Speaker”, he’d win hands down.

I’m in the process of sorting out my notes and the business cards I’ve collected and will mail my key takeaways from the seminar to my list over the next few days (after I’ve had a chance to recover).

I’ve had quite a number of WIS Singapore participants join my list over the last couple of days too and a warm welcome to you.

Here’s a more conventional picture of David and me:

Jay Abraham’s Internet Marketing Empire Building Blueprint http://whoisandrewwee.com/internet-marketing-events/jay-abrahams-internet-marketing-empire-building-blueprint/ http://whoisandrewwee.com/internet-marketing-events/jay-abrahams-internet-marketing-empire-building-blueprint/#comments Mon, 27 Nov 2006 08:04:35 +0000 http://www.whoisandrewwee.com/208/jay-abrahams-internet-marketing-empire-building-blueprint/ Marketing Guru Jay Abraham delivered the World Internet Summit Singapore keynote and though his advice could be applicable to both brick-and-mortar as well as online businesses, I believe that Internet Marketers could take heed from his advice.

In my opinion, the major issue for Internet Marketers is that we can lose focus and waste resources and time in the process.

Although the online cost of failure is very low, proceeding without a clear plan could be equally frustrating because of the inability to reach our desired outcome.

Jay gave some useful steps which I list below:

Jay Abraham

Marketing Guru Jay Abraham

This is the “Secret Formula” which really isn’t a secret formula once you think it through.
Jay Abraham’s Business Building forumla:

  • Adopt a Systems Approach to your online business: Evaluate and apply business opportunities
  • Look for recurring opportunities/activities and leverage on an existing customer base: Especially the opportunity to offer upsells, downsells and offering complimentary products. Very vital to this is developing an income stream which is sustainable, constant and predictable.
  • The Key to Everything is your Marketing Effort: The marketing difference in every business means the difference between millions and mediocrity.

The most vital lesson I picked up from Jay’s presentation was this:

The goal of your business should be something in which you put in less effort as time goes by, yet the volume of sales goes up.

Reflect on that and it’ll help bring you to the next level.

PS: I’ll be compiling the strategies and key points shared the seminar and distributing it to my list. If you haven’t done so yet, you can sign up for my list in the right sidebar. There’s a product creation blueprint that no Internet Marketer should do without.

Laying Your Million Dollar Seeds at World Internet Summit http://whoisandrewwee.com/internet-marketing-events/world-internet-summit-million-dollar/ http://whoisandrewwee.com/internet-marketing-events/world-internet-summit-million-dollar/#comments Fri, 24 Nov 2006 15:49:02 +0000 http://www.whoisandrewwee.com/206/world-internet-summit-million-dollar/ Plunge
Are you hesistant about growing your business?

I’ve noticed that too many people waste the opportunities they’re given when they go to events.

Look at this logically: there’re tons of people at the event. A lot of them could be potential customers, some even loyal lifetime customers. And a select few could be invaluable joint venture partners.

Wouldn’t it be silly to squander these opportunities?

Have you met people who have gone to events and:

  • Neglected to bring their business cards (It’ll cost you a nice dinner to make a box, and bring you more value than a good steak)
  • Stand in the corner, looking at the ground (vinyl floor is so fascinating, isn’t it?)
  • Place an inordinate interest reading the event programme (which mainly consists of sponsored ads)

If you’re going to do that, I’d suggest you stay at home and place an order for Secret Blog Weapon instead. You’d have an income-generating blog up and running in a month.

But if you choose to go to events like World Internet Summit, or the Elite Retreat, why not make better use of it?

Here’s some tips to maximize your time at World Internet Summit, or any other Internet Marketing event for that matter.

Be Prepared:
Bring a survival kit consisting of the following:

  • Business Card for your onliness business. include your email address, cell phone, blog/website address, a brief description of what you go (“We create value for you” is vague and totally useless – ditch immediately. “Tomorrow is a better day” – immediate recycle bin). There’ll be 1,000 people at WIS. You will need more than 20 cards. Likely you can give out 300-400 cards if you work the crowd right.
  • Digital Camera:Snap a picture with the gurus. It’ll help immensely as you leverage off their credibility. It’s also a form of assurance if you’re marketing their products later. Send them a copy of the photo too, they’ll remember you better.
  • Pen and paper: Potentially the most useful. Use it to collect contacts for those who have no business card or ran out. Collect their name, email and contact number. If someone’s especially important as either a prospect or a partner, mark their entry with an asterisk. It’s useful for making notes during the presentations or in a pinch, for making impromptu namecards if you yourself run out.
  • A copy of your product: If you’re about to release a new ebook, print out a couple of hard copies. Give them to the presenters whom you feel might be a potential partner. Give a copy to any large list owners you meet. The biggest problem for newer Internet Marketers is not that you’re giving your product for free, but rather that no one knows who you are.

Be Personable:

Be friendly to everyone you meet. That guy with the bad acne and strong body odour might be the brains behind that $997 SEO software that sold 10,000 copies during it’s launch. You just might need him as an advisor when you’re doing your own product launch.
Meeting face-to-face means you can present yourself beyond what you type on your blog or website. You’re helping to put a face to your name.

Be Ethusiastic:

We generally judge people we meet within 10 seconds of meeting them. Our physiology (how we stand, how we present ourself) and how we sound when we speak are two of the biggest giveaways when you talk to others. Not surprisingly, people get a good vibe when we’re enthusiastic and are more towards finding out more.

I’ve helped unlock the hidden bonuses for a number of WIS Singapore participants.

If you’d like to see if you’re eligible, fill in the contact me form in the right sidebar including your contact number and email.

Else I’ll see some of you tomorrow.

World Internet Summit and WIS Hidden Bonuses http://whoisandrewwee.com/internet-marketing-events/world-internet-summit-and-wis-hidden-bonuses/ http://whoisandrewwee.com/internet-marketing-events/world-internet-summit-and-wis-hidden-bonuses/#comments Thu, 23 Nov 2006 06:15:57 +0000 http://www.whoisandrewwee.com/205/world-internet-summit-and-wis-hidden-bonuses/ It’s 5:55am as I’m writing this.

I’m quite psyched about World Internet Summit Singapore, having secured my place for the event yesterday evening.

World Internet Summit

It’s quite a stellar lineup and I’m particularly looking forward to getting a chance to catch Willie Crawford, Rick Raddatz and Matt Bacak in action.

The one thing I’m looking forward to the most though is Jo Han and Ewen’s World Internet Summit challenge.

How long does product creation, sales copy generation and a product launch take?

A week? 2 weeks? A month?

Jo Han and Ewen will do all this in 2 hours.

I got some insider info… that said this alone is worth the event cost. (there’s a video on the WIS site)
You can be sure I’ll be taking copious notes (and perhaps blog about it next week).

By the way, my insider contact is giving some hidden bonuses to WIS Singapore attendees.

I believe they’re highly desirable items and easily worth a couple of hundred dollars. The potential income generation potential is easily in the thousands.
If you’re already registered to go, or you are planning to go, you may qualify. (though he has to stop giving the bonuses soon).
Drop me a note at my: contact form

I’ll make some calls to see if you’re eligible and do my best to get back to you within an hour.

Here’s: World Internet Summit information link for more info on the event.
Here’s: my contact form link (include your name, email, contact number, so I can check on the hidden bonuses and get back to you. We only have a 12 hour window so my apologies if you don’t get the bonuses).

See you on Saturday!
