What if.<\/p>\n<p>A sense of doubt may creep in.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Sad\" title=\"Sad\" src=\"http:\/\/www.whoisandrewwee.com\/images\/blog0610\/sad.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--adsense#wide--><\/p>\n<p>If there&#8217;s one thing I&#8217;ve learned, it&#8217;s that <strong>planning<\/strong> can reduce a lot of this unnecessary stress.<\/p>\n<p>Many times we put ourselves under undue stress.<\/p>\n<p>Some may feel that the previous month was a fluke.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s just a flash in the pan.<\/p>\n<p>Some might even start making alternative plans &#8216;just in case Internet Marketing doesn&#8217;t work out&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Freeze a second<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Is all this really necessary?<\/p>\n<p>You can control the adsense and affiliate marketing market just as much as you can control the weather.<\/p>\n<p>Not too good a feeling is it?<\/p>\n<p>But consider instead, <strong>there is something you can control<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s even better than being able to control the market.<\/p>\n<p>You can control yourself and you think and feel about a certain situation.<\/p>\n<p>Look at this:<\/p>\n<p>Is your <strong>locus of control<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Within yourself?<\/li>\n<li>Outside of yourself?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I know a &#8216;locus of control&#8217; is not a tangible object, however, where you see it located is very important.If you feel control is something outside of yourself, you&#8217;ll be setting yourself up for lots of frustration, especially when an adsense or afiliate marketing campaign doesn&#8217;t turn you like you had ancticipated.<\/p>\n<p>Too many people <strong>choose<\/strong> to let themselves be controlled, rather than actively choosing to control destiny.<\/p>\n<p>How does an <strong>internal locus of control<\/strong> manifest itself?<\/p>\n<p>This is my take:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You set goals.<\/li>\n<li>You develop a concrete plan of action<\/li>\n<li>You take action<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What&#8217;s even more important is what happens <strong>after<\/strong> you take action.<\/p>\n<p>Do you actively analyze your results?<\/p>\n<p>Do you think through how you can get better results the next time round?<\/p>\n<p>And when the chips are down.<\/p>\n<p>Do you decide it&#8217;s a lost cause and drop everything?<\/p>\n<p>Or do you decide that enough&#8217;s enough and you take concrete action?<\/p>\n<p>The difference is whether you are content to let life do with you what it will, or will you <strong>actively shape your own reality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Easier said than done, but if you are able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visualize the outcome you desire<\/li>\n<li>Develop the action steps you will take<\/li>\n<li>Take action<\/li>\n<li>Examine your results<\/li>\n<li>Take corrective action<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will only end up faster, stronger and more effective in whatever you do.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s nothing that beats the sensation of getting your first Internet Marketing paycheck.
