After all he&#8217;s the default &#8220;friend&#8221; when you join the network.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.whoisandrewwee.com\/images\/blog0707\/eric-marcoullier.jpg\" title=\"eric marcoullier\" alt=\"eric marcoullier\" height=\"99\" width=\"264\" \/><\/p>\n<p>With Eric&#8217;s departure, will new MBL members be greeted by Yahoo! Community Manager <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mybloglog.com\/buzz\/members\/Duzins\" title=\"robyn tippins\" target=\"_blank\">Robyn Tippins<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>It was just a little over a month ago that MyBlogLog ran their ad on StandoutJobs to hire two wickedly good developers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.whoisandrewwee.com\/images\/blog0707\/eric-marcoullier-todd-sampson.jpg\" title=\"eric marcoullier todd sampson\" alt=\"eric marcoullier todd sampson\" height=\"238\" width=\"412\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the video ad, Eric, seen with MyBlogLog co-founder Todd Sampson were talking about the atmosphere at the young company, and it&#8217;s a pity to see Eric&#8217;s departure.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;ll be gradually phasing to becoming one of the bloggers in the MBL community, creating the moniker <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mybloglog.com\/buzz\/members\/bpm140\/\" title=\"bpm140\" target=\"_blank\">bpm140<\/a> and will be blogging over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marcoullier.com\" title=\"eric marcoullier\" target=\"_blank\">marcoullier.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m thinking bpm140 could be an abbreviation for <!--more-->140 beats per minute.<\/p>\n<p>Given Eric&#8217;s penchant for dance music, see his <a href=\"http:\/\/marcoullier.com\/blog\/2007\/07\/19\/the-klfs-the-manual-the-original-the-4-hour-workweek\/trackback\/\" title=\"klf\" target=\"_blank\">KLF<\/a> post, I&#8217;m guess bpm140 could either refer to heart-thumping dance music, or merely the heart rate of a baby (he&#8217;ll be a dad for the second time soon). Perhaps it&#8217;s a dual reference&#8230;good one, Eric.<\/p>\n<p>His priorities following &#8220;retirement&#8221;:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>enjoying the pending birth of my second son<\/li>\n<li>losing some weight<\/li>\n<li>finally getting my contacts organized<\/li>\n<li>read a bunch of books<\/li>\n<li>Oh, and getting reacquainted with an old friend called \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cblog&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I noticed that he&#8217;s got &#8220;insert pithy tagline here&#8221; below the title of his blog.
