While going through the various IM options available (adsense, affiliate sales, product creation, selling services), consider this:<\/p>\n
Over the past 2 months, I have dabbled in adsense, affiliate sales, product creation.
\nEverything looks interesting, and lucrative.
\nI have generated about US$200 to date.<\/p>\n
And yesterday, a revelation stuck: Where is this all leading to?
\nGenerating small residual income could be an interesting supplement to a regular income.
\nWho doesn’t want a couple of hundred bucks a month?<\/p>\n
BUT<\/strong> to do it full time, requires a major paradigm shift<\/em>. Many new Internet Marketers (myself included) get trapped into the idea that they can do everything. Don’t get me wrong. Niche Specialists will dominate<\/strong> whatever segment they’re in. A specialist can expect to get a quantum return because demand will far outstrip supply if you position yourself right.
\nYou would already know that specialists are paid much more than generalists.
\nSurgeons are paid more than doctors in general practise, Internet Marketing SPECIALISTS <\/strong>will draw more than Internet Marketing GENERALISTS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
\nWe make ourselves into IM generalists, thinking it offers the best prospects.
\nNothing<\/strong> could be more wrong.<\/p>\n
\nEveryone has to start out as a generalist<\/em>.
\nAnd some choose to be career generalists<\/em>.
\nBut how fast<\/strong> you make it to the specialist track will determine how soon you fasttrack<\/strong> yourself to success.<\/p>\n
\nThe cost of being general will ensure you get a general income.
\nA general income also gives a linear income.<\/p>\n
