Blogger and Internet Marketer Andrea Schoemaker is helping to generate the content today.
I managed to secure an interview with her and she shared some blogging tips.
In case, you aren’t already familiar with Andrea.
Here’s a pic:
Internet Siblings: Shoemoney (Jeremy Schoemaker) and PlanetAndrea (Andrea Schoemaker)
Are you ready to enter the world of PlanetAndrea? (more…)
The 9Rules blog network is quite a cool one and I’m finding myself contantly going back to refresh the home page.
Even after the buzz at the conclusion of round 5, which had a whopper 1,190 blogs being submitted for inclusion into the content network, things are still humming along.
9Rules blog submissions received for Round 1 to 5: Up and up!
And if you’ve submitted your blog for inclusion, Mike Rundle in his 9Rules Round 5 Analysis points out: Traditionally we’ve added between 8-16% of the total number of submissions to 9rules, so if that holds true then “you can assume†we’ll pick about 160 blogs this time (though it’s all up in the air at the moment).
That’s encouraging. Results expected by the end of this week.
But wait…What’re the 9Rules anyway? (more…)
Are you an Internet Marketer?
Are you happy with your adsense earnings?
Need some inspiration?
How about:
Shoemoney “Skills to pay the bills”
In case you have difficulty reading the check, it’s issued by Google and is an adsense check for the amount of $132,994.97 issued in the month of September 2005.
Shoemoney (aka Jeremy Schoemaker) helpfully points out:
This was the bigest paper check I have ever received. It was way back in August of 2005 and since I have moved to wire transfers so dont look for anything bigger from me.

One reason why I’ve always been able to hit the top ranks of whatever I’m aiming for, whether in school, journalism, or in my entrepreneur ventures, is that I’ve been able to find strong role models and mentors. Co-opt them. Adapt and apply their strategies (this is one of the techniques I use in BizExcelleration)
Adopt your mentors best practices, take massive action, look at your results.
Does it work?
I think my results speak for themselves.
Let’s go on to my favourite affiliate marketer.
Super Affiliate Ewen Chia and Andrew Wee
Something he said during Saturday’s workshop (that’s the Ewen Chia and Jo Han Mok Advanced Strategies workshop) gave me my money’s worth.

After the conclusion of Internet Money Secrets, there’s been a buzz of discussion about what people got out of the event.
I gave the feedback that the sessions by Joel Comm, Ewen Chia, Jo Han Mok, Kelvin Hui, Stuart Tan and Peter Drew provided value.
Some of the strategies could be used as the bedrock of an Internet Marketing campaign.
In fact, Jo Han sharing his strategy in getting testimonials for new products was worth the price of the seminar.
And on the sidelines of the even, I got Ewen to spill the beans on the marketing strategy for Web Advertising Secrets.
Internet Money Secrets Speakers: Stuart Tan, Joel Comm, Kelvin Hui, Ewen Chia, Peter Drew, Jo Han Mok
Quite a stellar lineup.
And yet there’s been some recent controversy. (more…)
The Alexa ranking’s always a controversial topic.
Zach, head brain at DomainSocial, frequently tells me it’s easily manipulated.
So’ve a number of other experienced Internet guys.
It was useful for Jason to mention it on his Off the Top of My Head blog.
And more usefully, see if he could abuse it.
In case you weren’t aware book e-tailer Amazon acquired Alexa in 1999.
A number of people promote/publicize their Alexa rankings (myself included).
In fact, here’s my latest stats.
So what does this mean?
After a period of testing detailed in Jason’s post: Manipulating Alexa Isn’t What It Used to Be
Jason comes to the conclusion “the testing I did convinced me that Alexa is not as easily manipulated as it used to be. In fact, it doesn’t seem to be able to be manipulated at all.”
