Here’s an example of viral traffic generation.
I was reading Shoemoney’s post on Las Vegas Pubcon 2006 and in his comments, I see the following:
That was a pingback from Lee Odden blog.
Lee is CEO of TopRank Online Marketing and has a widely read, high traffic, high PR blog.
It caught my eye like Seth Godin’s archetypal “Purple Cow” (which stands out from the herd of brown cows).
I got an enquiry from Adam Wong, who has a successful blog at adam-wong.com.
Adam’s known for helping my buddy, millionaire entrepreneur Adam Khoo, launch his Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires product.
Take a look at this:
Adam Wong clocked $9,000 in 2 weeks through his internet marketing efforts. Although I believe it’s a revenue figure, the net profit would be close to that because it’s Adam Khoo’s digital product at: Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires.
I was talking to Adam Wong the other night and he was asking about traffic generation strategies. (more…)
Here’s 3 things you can do to irritate Jo Han:
- Tell him he should eat more, cos he’s losing too much weight.
- Tell him you think Americans make better Internet Marketers than Asians.
- Or you could what I’m about to do…
He just sent me an email to personally invite me to a private ‘closed-door’ workshop on advanced traffic generation strategies.
I think it should go out to more people, rather than just a specially selected few.
So you might want to think of me either:
- Democratiziing the Internet
- Being an ass
- All of the above
So I’m broadcasting the offer, at the risk of being bitch-slapped by Jo Han, because I’m planning to go for it.
As you know, I practise what I preach, so I’ll be there among the masses too. (Technically it’s not a mass, but rather a workshop with 30 participants. A small mass…)
There’s a whole bunch of stuff being given away, including “over $1997 worth of traffic generation software that has NOT been released on the market.”
Jo Han also helpfully offers “We will NEVER conduct a workshop like this again.”
As you know, never is a very long time.
And you can qualify for the ‘Refered by Andrew Wee’ special price of S$397 (roughly equivalent to $250).
I’ve already blocked my seat about half an hour ago.
If you hurry, you might be able to still get one of the limited places by dropping an email to ticket [at] MidasTouchMarketing.com. (Subject to availability)
Or call the MidasTouchMarketing office at: (+65) 6836-6636 during office hours to register by phone.
Be sure to mention that you were ‘Refered by Andrew Wee‘.
Else if you pay full price.
And if you forgot to mention my name. Oh well. (It’s just another day’s takings, right?)
See some of you on Saturday.
I’m looking forward to October, because the face of Internet Marketing in Singapore and possibly Asia will never be the same again.
That’s because the NTUC Auditorium at Marina Boulevard in the heart of the city will play host to the Inaugural Internet Money Secrets convention.
The event is intended to focus in on generating Internet Marketing income through two revenue streams:
- Google Adsense
- Affiliate Marketing (my favourite!)
Beyond just the knowledge, I’m looking forward to the great networking opportunities.
Just imagine, 350 Internet Marketers all gathered in one place, exchanging ideas over two days, with the possibility of teaming up and forming joint ventures. (more…)
Kudos to Darren Rowse of ProBlogger.net for organising the latest Writing Project, this post on massive list building is my entry for the “How To” themed writing project found at: ProBlogger Group Writing Project – ‘How To…’
(I’m still holding out for the Amazon prize! ).
They say that your success in Internet Marketing is determined by the size of your list.
The power to shape opinion and influence behavior is a function of how big your list is.
And more importantly, if you have a qualified list. Do the members fit the demographic you’re targeting.
How relevant the members to your interests?
A list provides ready traffic and serves as the
- core readership for your content (blog posts, ebooks, podcasts, vlogs)
- primary clients for an affiliate marketing campaign you might run
Traditional list building might see 5 to 10 members joining your list on a daily basis.
Perhaps you’re giving them a 5 or 10 page report, or maybe a free ebook.
This could be effective in growing your list over the long term.
But what if you want a much bigger list, in a much shorter period of time?
What if you wanted a list numbering 10,000 or possibly even 100,000?
What if you could do all this for little cost, or even free?
