2 More Affiliate Summits Coming Up This Year???

If you’ve been watching the Affiliate Summit website, you might’ve missed this little goodie, if you blinked:

Upcoming Affiliate Summits: Boston (August 10-12, 2008) — New York City (October 5, 2008).

I’ve known about Affiliate Summit East in Boston later in August, but “New York City”?

That’s news to me.

Is that going to be “Affiliate Summit East 2”?

My buddy, Loxly, aptly pointed out that the NYC event is just one day. So it could be a scaled down event?

I would have checked with Affiliate Summit co-founder Shawn Collins, but he looks like he’s away from his computer now.

Maybe we’ll see some updates shortly from Shawn.

I’m already making plans to attend the Boston event, though it’ll be interesting to hear what “Affiliate Summit East 2” in NYC holds…

I LOVE NYC so any excuse to go is good with me. And I love AS so will be paying attention to what is going on with that. Shawn? Missy? What’s up?

I’m planning on attending ASE in Boston. It would’ve been nice if the New York event were to be full length instead of only 1 day.

The NYC event is going to be Affiliate Summit Politics. Since the US election is the following month, Shawn will be trying to convert as many people as he can to the Republican dark side to prevent the inevitable Obama landslide.

I’m kidding, of course.

Hey Andrew –

The NYC show on October 5, 2008 is a day before the big SMX show in NYC.

It’s going to be a scaled down affair for us – just one day and maximum of 300 people.

I think we’ll focus on social media and how it relates to affiliate marketing, but we’re still talking about that.

I am planning on the August event and hope to meet you finally Andrew. Also see that the New York event could be added in as I wanted to try to make the SMX. Never been to one.

I’ll be at the boston event. I feel bad that i missed out on vegas this week.

NY seems like a nice addition.
