If you haven’t been reading Darren Rouse’s ProBlogger.net, seriously where have you been?
Darren’s the ‘go to’ guy and aims to help “bloggers earn money”.
You can’t go wrong with that, can you?
He previously run a blogging writing project which spun out quality content.
Check out his last project: Lists – Group Writing Project
$1,250 worth of prizes was given out the last time.
The prizes included a new Dell PC and LCD monitor, $500 in digital cash (which could be spent on products and services or withdrawn to a prepaid ATM card and used as cash) useful for buying Internet Marketing ebooks! and $100 Amazon gift voucher. As you can see, the prizes are really attractive.
For the current contest, the prizes are overwhelming and Darren has shortlisted 5 worth a jaw-dropping
$1,800!
You can read his latest post here: $1800 Prize Pool for Next Week’s Writing Project
The prizes are attractive, and sure, everyone will be attracted to them.
I think though there are significantly more important benefits resulting from this contest:
- Networking opportunities with fellow bloggers
- Exploring a universe of wonderful (and sometimes weird) content
- Getting your name out there
As Darren succinctly puts it:
Probably the best part of the last group project was the amount of inter-linking I see happening between participating bloggers as a result of their posts. It’s obvious that people found new blogs through it and that the benefits of participating was way beyond getting a link from me but flowed on to a lot of new connections and links between other bloggers.
I blog quite often and I truly appreciate your information. This great article
has really peaked my interest. I’m going to book mark your site and keep checking for new details about once per week.
I opted in for your RSS feed too.
