Build up your Internet Marketing Goodwill Bank

There are 2 main types of ‘intelligence’ in my book: intellectual ‘intelligence (the concept we’re familiar with), known as IQ.

And the other factor that women are generally more adept at EQ (emotional quotient).

How’s this tie in to Internet Marketing?

Lots actually.

A friend Amos introduced this concept to me a long time ago which he applies in his brick-and-mortar business dealings.

It’s equally applicable in the online world.

Crash, boom, Internet bang

My blog output has been hit by a number of things:

  • My Fujitsu Lifebook laptop suddenly decided i’d be working her too hard, and decided to take a vacation. She refused to boot up on me at 3pm yesterday. Appears the motherboard is faulty and the guys had to keep it overnight, despite the fact that I mentioned I’d needed it for ‘mission critical’ project work (eg. blogging 3-4 times a day). Internet Marketing newbies a nuisance?

And on the sidelines of the even, I got Ewen to spill the beans on the marketing strategy for Web Advertising Secrets.

How to make life difficult for your Internet Marketing customers

Here’s a pet peeve.

Doing unnecessary technical stuff to make things hard for your customers.

I was offered a ‘leaked’ chapter for an affiliate product.

I filled in my name and email, ready for the onslaught of email to come.

I get to the download page, and download the file.

I look at the file.

Encountering Planet Andrea

Planet AndreaI just had a fun chat with Andrea Schoemaker, who’s the founder of Planet Andrea (her blog is currently under maintenance and will be up soon).

I’d talked to her a couple of times on Shoemoney’s forums and she’s a really cool gal.

She mentioned that there’s something interesting upcoming in December.

Although the details haven’t been announced yet.

I’m seriously thinking of heading over to the US for this event. Continue reading
