Limited Edition Viral Super Affiliate System Launched

An unfortunate incident for one of my affiliate marketing clients recently opened up the opportunity to convert the intellectual property developed for that project into an indispensable tool for affiliate marketers looking to add viral elements to their affiliate marketing campaigns.

The Viral Super Affiliate System is intended to provide a viral turnkey solution for new and experienced affiliate marketers.

Friday Podcast Episode 4: Has Web 2.0 Broken The Internet?

“Web2.0 applications like YouTube Videos and P2P (peer-to-peer) application are bringing the Internet down”

That’s what Big Boys Cisco Systems and one of China’s biggest telcos China Netcom seem to be saying at the recent Broadband World Forum Asia (“Carriers struggle under P2P traffic boom“)

But is that the reality?

Domain Name Monetization and NameCheap Discount Coupon Code

Many Internet Marketers fail to realize that having multiple domain names can be fundamental to your success in marketing your own product or engaged in affiliate marketing. The good news is that with the availability of domain coupon codes and innovative web hosting, you can build a virtual empire easily, even if you’re just starting out.

Let’s look at this scenario:

You’re a new affiliate marketer starting out, and you want to generate some sales. What do you do?

Maybe you could start a free blog at blogger or wordpress.com. If you’re smart, you’ll register your own domain and get your own webhosting, so you’ll have more control over your web property.

But do you stop at just one blog or website?

Not if you want to have massive success in your affiliate campaign.

What’s to stop you from creating 5 or 10 blogs or websites promoting the same product?

It’s not only an opportunity to occupy multiple positions on the SERPs (search engine results pages), but you will edge out your competition if you push them off page 1 too.

Bear in mind, I’m not asking you to post 10 mirror image copies of the same website. That would be very foolish.

Instead if you can generate content easily, tightly focused around that specific niche, for example, weight loss, you’ll create a virtual fortress centered around the product.

The guys on the Wicked Fire affiliate forum have announced the June discount code for domain registrar NameCheap.com where I’ve been buying the bulk of my domains from.

Domains also come with free privacy protection (so your details aren’t easily available).

Here’s some advice regarding domain names: Continue reading

The Internet Marketing Long Tail Bashes the “80:20” Pareto Principle

Wired editor-in-chief Chris Anderson (also the editor of “The Long Tail: Why The Future of Business Is Selling Less of More”) was in Singapore last week for the Media Leaders Series and his Long Tail theory has put paid to Vilfredo Pareto’s 80:20 rule.

An except from the Long Tail reveals how pervasive the Long Tail is, and how it put the 80:20 rule on its head.

Meeting Ecast CEO Robbie Vann-Adib, Anderson is asked what percent of the top selling 10,000 digital music tracks are sold or rented at least once a month.

According to Pareto’s original principle, 20% of Italy’s population controls 80% of it’s wealth.

In today’s context, 80% of car accidents might be caused by 20% of car drivers. 80% of a computer’s resources might be used by 20% of the applications, 80% if your online income might come from 20% of your efforts.

So the Pareto principle should relate to Continue reading

Tag! You’re It, MyBlogLog 2.0

Yahoo! blog community service MyBlogLog has added tagging to its arsenal of killer app features. An innovative use is the ability to tag spammer and regulate the flow of overzealous mass messaging within the service.

The new tagging feature allows you, as well as other MyBlogLog members to issue tags to your personal and community profile.

For example, someone could tag you as “SEO Expert”, making you easier to find.

As a set of common tags proliferate, I can see tagging as the basis of creating another level of connection within the community.

Here’s what MyBlogLog founder Eric Marcoullier’s tagging profile looks like:

tagging mybloglog

I created a fictious “mamalemon” tag on my personal profile and entered that keyword into the MyBlogLog search engine. It didn’t find my profile (it reported zero results).

Would tags show up in the MBL search results?

I’d think it makes for a more Continue reading

Bumping up Your Affiliate Marketing Quotient

There are several ways to increase your affiliate marketing knowledge and they come with varying degrees of effort and resources required, but they generally fall into: information products, speaking to someone in person and forums/blog.

Speaking to an affiliate or super affiliate (generally referring to someone who makes at least $10,000 in profit from affiliate marketing) is hands-down the best way. You get to ask your question, get an answer, ask a follow up question and get an answer almost immediately.

Another solution is to gain information via an information product. This being Internet Marketing, your first inclination might be towards ebooks, but take note that this category also includes videos, DVDs, audio CDs and printed magazines and books. The depth of information might not be as comprehensive as talking to someone face-to-face, or maybe over an instant messenger or email, but what you lack in personalized attention is more than made up by the breadth of information available.

A third avenue is through Continue reading
