Friday Podcast: PPC Keyword Strategies With John Hasson
I invited John Hasson on the Friday Podcast to share some tips about his PPC campaigns.
From his previous appearance on the series, you’d have heard about how he extensively uses automation in his PPC campaigns. Together with outsourcing business tasks, John has given his affiliate marketing business more room to grow.

i agree with a lot of john’s statements as well…i have a question though. you discuss uploading the 30k keywords for the client, making sure they’re converting according to real/estimated CRs, and then pausing keywords that have low CTRs…i can only imagine the amount of time you’re actually managing the campaigns. are you the only one managing the bids, or do you at some point hand it over to an account manager, or back to the client? just more of a mgmt type inquiry…

January 10, 2009 at 11:27 pm (15 years ago)I have to people that help out with reporting, and so on. I still take on most of the responsibility with identifying and removing or updating poorly performing keywords and ads. But I don’t really do it all by hand.
