Meet Up And Make Warp Speed Internet Wealth With Jo Han Mok

Dear Frustrated Member of the “Yet to Make Big Bucks Online” club,

Help is at hand.

If you’ve been struggling to make money online, and have yet to see your first check arrive in your mailbox.

Or if you have collected a check that is nowhere near “Day Job Killer” category, you really owe it to yourself to bone up your game and move closer to the big leagues.

You might’ve read some of my previous posts about Internet Marketing Maestro Jo Han Mok. In case you missed them, check out:

Following the recent success of our group consultation “The Blood and Guts of Social Traffic and Generating A Torrent of Traffic“, Jo Han has put together a new workshop, “Warp Speed Internet Wealth” which will showcases successful Internet Marketing models and he’ll also relate some of his experiences on the path to Internet Marketing success.

To give you a taste of Jo Han’s typical day:

I’ve seen Jo Han step into his office late in the afternoon and the first thing he does is walk into the gym and work out, or go swim for an hour or so.

Build Massive Traffic with Magnetic Content

Hands up if you find it easy to create content for your blog or website.

Not too many hands there.

But if you think about it, having original, quality content is vital critical to building long term sustainable traffic for your blog or website.

If you’re posting stale content on your site, you’ll turn off your readers.

Do it for extended periods of time, and you might as well sound the death knell.

It can however, be alleviated if you adhere to some guidelines.

  • Look for inspiration

Visit Wikipedia, article directories, forums, Yahoo Answers, Google News.

Look at existing content specific to your niche, whether it’s weight loss, scrapbooking, smoking cessation, birdwatching, affiliate marketing and the like.

What’re the topics that people asking and discussing?

What’re their biggest worries/problems/concerns?

  • Find an angle and get answers

Compile questions that if answered, will give some insight, or better yet, a solution to their problems.

Look for high authority sites, contact high authority contacts, get the questions answered.

  • Create value

Sort out and organize your information. Arrange and present the information in a logical manner. If you’ve got differing opinions, sort them into pro and con stances. Present a balanced viewpoint.

  • Presentation

A blog or website gives scope for you to present the information, using lists, bullets to arrange the information in an easy-to-understand manner. Use graphics, photos if available. Better yet, include Continue reading

Blogging and Blog Posts: Quantity or Quality?

There’s a discussion brewing over at the Webtools Collection post “Top 6 Most Prolific Bloggers” listing 6 of the “most prolific” bloggers with 1,000 or more posts. (courtesy of Darren Rowse’s Speedlinking 4 March 2007).

Does post quantity lead to a better reader experience?

It would, especially if you’re giving your readers more choice, and they’re likely to find something that interests them.

At the same time though, we have Continue reading

Is This the End of WhoIsAndrewWee.com?

I’ve received email from a reader asking:

“You’re not updating your blog as regularly as you used to. Sometimes you skip entire days.

Are you giving up blogging?

What happened?

Please continue blogging, I enjoy your style and your (sic) explain things in a way I understand easily”

I appreciate getting emails, especially when concerned readers write in.

It is true that I am not blogging as regularly as I have been. I don’t see anything ending anytime soon.

The truth is I’ve been working on a very interesting project over the past month, which will culminate in an interesting session this weekend.

I’ve been hanging out with this dude:

WordPress 2.1.2 Emergency Upgrade Released

Take note if you’re blogging on the WordPress Platform, a cracker has introduced a security exploit into one of the WordPress 2.1.1 download servers at WordPress.org, which could potentially open security holes in your installation.

For the WordPress development team to label this as a “WordPress 2.1.1 Dangerous, Upgrade” hints at the severity of this.

WordPress upgrades can involve some pain, especially if your existing plugins may not be fully compatible with the new code.

As always:

  • Backup your blog content (the most important step)
  • Deactivate your plugins
  • Do the installation
  • Reactivate plugins
  • Ensure that the blog is working as it should
  • Do another data backup

Yes, some of the steps seems repetitive, but it could Continue reading

Have You Upgraded to WordPress 2.1.1?

If you actively use blogging for branding or income generation, take note of the WordPress upgrades available.

A number of prominent Internet Marketers WordPress 2.0.5 blogs had been hacked into, and the WordPress development team launched WordPress 2.0.7 to address the issue within a short timespan, even as they were about to launch their next major upgrade, the WordPress 2.1 series.

I’d been holding back on upgrading, even though test WordPress 2.1.1 installations showed that the blogs were running much faster, due to a major factor.

In this case, slower adopters stand to benefit, as a number of plugins have been shown to be not fully compatible with WordPress 2.1.

If you’re a WordPress blogger, you’d know that WordPress plugins are the lifeblood of any serious blogger. They add an unparalled degree of functionality and bring the WordPress platform to a whole new level, compared to other blogging platforms.

After reading that the new WordPress has difficulty playing nicely with my major Tag-related plugin, Tag Warrior, I’d held back till there seemed to be some stablity.

I’d finally launched into the new platform, wishing for the best.

Besides a hiccup with Continue reading
