Ewen Chia and building the ‘Me’ brand

One reason why I’ve always been able to hit the top ranks of whatever I’m aiming for, whether in school, journalism, or in my entrepreneur ventures, is that I’ve been able to find strong role models and mentors. Co-opt them. Adapt and apply their strategies (this is one of the techniques I use in BizExcelleration)
Adopt your mentors best practices, take massive action, look at your results.

Does it work?

I think my results speak for themselves.

Let’s go on to my favourite affiliate marketer.

Super Affiliate Ewen Chia and Andrew Wee

Something he said during Saturday’s workshop (that’s the Ewen Chia and Jo Han Mok Advanced Strategies workshop) gave me my money’s worth.

Ewen Chia and Jo Han Mok Advanced Strategies workshop

I’m spending almost all of tomorrow with two guys whom some have dubbed Internet Marketing’s ‘Sultans of Singapore’

Jo Han Mok and Ewen Chia

Master Copywriter Jo Han Mok and Ewen Chia

I’m looking forward to the session because although I’m getting decent traffic now (I hit Alexa 20,000 on a good day), I’d like to generate good ratings on a consistent basis. Continue reading

Going, going…

Well, just gone actually.

I happened to get up at 4am, wanting to check out the Web Advertising Secrets page.

Ewen Chia Web Advertising Secrets

Let me be among the first to let you know that it’s off the market.

And kudos to regular reader Chi Ang who got one of the last copies available.

You should get your blog up quickly, girl!

By the way, I was supposed to blog about this earlier.

How to make life difficult for your Internet Marketing customers

Here’s a pet peeve.

Doing unnecessary technical stuff to make things hard for your customers.

I was offered a ‘leaked’ chapter for an affiliate product.

I filled in my name and email, ready for the onslaught of email to come.

I get to the download page, and download the file.

I look at the file.

.RAR.

How to Irritate Internet Marketing Copywriter Jo Han Mok

Here’s 3 things you can do to irritate Jo Han:

  1. Tell him he should eat more, cos he’s losing too much weight.
  2. Tell him you think Americans make better Internet Marketers than Asians.
  3. Or you could what I’m about to do…

He just sent me an email to personally invite me to a private ‘closed-door’ workshop on advanced traffic generation strategies.

I think it should go out to more people, rather than just a specially selected few.

So you might want to think of me either:

  • Democratiziing the Internet
  • Being an ass
  • All of the above

So I’m broadcasting the offer, at the risk of being bitch-slapped by Jo Han, because I’m planning to go for it.

As you know, I practise what I preach, so I’ll be there among the masses too. (Technically it’s not a mass, but rather a workshop with 30 participants. A small mass…)

There’s a whole bunch of stuff being given away, including “over $1997 worth of traffic generation software that has NOT been released on the market.”

Jo Han also helpfully offers “We will NEVER conduct a workshop like this again.”

As you know, never is a very long time.

And you can qualify for the ‘Refered by Andrew Wee’ special price of S$397 (roughly equivalent to $250).

I’ve already blocked my seat about half an hour ago.

If you hurry, you might be able to still get one of the limited places by dropping an email to ticket [at] MidasTouchMarketing.com. (Subject to availability)

Or call the MidasTouchMarketing office at: (+65) 6836-6636 during office hours to register by phone.

Be sure to mention that you were ‘Refered by Andrew Wee‘.

Else if you pay full price.

And if you forgot to mention my name. Oh well. (It’s just another day’s takings, right?)
See some of you on Saturday.

20 hours to go for Ewen Chia’s Web Advertising Secrets

I woke up this morning to an angry email.

After thinking about it for a day, one of my regular blog visitors decided to invest in the a copy of Ewen Chia’s Web Advertising Secrets.

They were quite upset.

Why didn’t you tell me it was $97?

Huh?

It’s $97! Why did you put $57 on your blog?

I checked my clickbank receipt.

Web Advertising Secrets receipt

Yep. $57. Continue reading
