Jerusalem-based Andrea Yager is a 8-year internet marketing veteran – who’s tried out many internet marketing strategies during her time starting up and operating various online and offline businesses.
A little different from the typical question-and-answer format, this edition of the Friday Podcast had us discussing and at times debating issues like:
Whether you employ a “day trader” or “long term stock investor” approach in your online business
Whether a product or it’s marketing campaign is more important
Market share vs Mind share – which is more important
Internal credibility vs external credibility for branding and reputation
Andrea also relates how she first got started online, and about her “20 Ways To Make Money Online” project.

I “met” Miles Baker online about a year ago through a mutual friend, Amit Mehta, and we’ve been exchanging business tips and online marketing strategies since.
Miles has done it all – as an affiliate, affiliate manager, merchant, he’s even owned and operated a forum and been active on eBay.
I got Miles on the line and we talked about success strategies for online business owners, including resources you can use to bring your business to the next level.
This was one of the most enjoyable interviews I’ve conducted in the Friday Podcast series.
Nicky Senyard, originally from Australia, is an affiliate marketing veteran, having founded two affiliate networks – the ShareResults affiliate network and Income Access focused on online gaming.
I’ve known Income Access affiliate manager Jamie Fortunaso from the forums for close to 2 years and his professionalism has always been apparent. It’s no wonder that Nicky has created one of the most personable and enjoyable networks to work with.

During our discussion we covered a gamut of topics including:
Business considerations when merchants add affiliate marketing to their sales/distribution channels
How the affiliate-to-network and merchant-to-network relationships can be enhanced
Geographic growth of affiliate marketing opportunities across North America/Canada, Europe and Asia
Merchants and affiliates will get some great content out of this session.
One of my resources that I’ve mainly been keeping to myself over the past 2 years is a talent web designer who lives in a small (population 10,000) Australian town of Maryborough.
Ryan Jackson AKA DesignGuruRyan, developed the template for this blog and designed and created almost all my product and affiliate sites too. (I take credit for the ugly ones…)
Besides my sites, Ryan’s also been involved with the site design for Mike Filsaime’s 7FigureSecrets and Chris McNeeney’s DayJobKiller product websites.
During our discussion, we talked about:
Offline design vs online web design
Incorporating direct response marketing elements into your web design
The rise of “Web 2.0” design elements in websites (and how to incoporate them)
Bootstrapping design resources for marketers on a budget
